
Pamela Babey is a Principal and President of Babey Moulton Jue & Booth. Ms. Babey received her Bachelor of Architecture Degree from the University of California at Berkeley in 1968. Her experience in the Interior Design field began with Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and James Stewart Polshek & Partners in New York. She then joined Skidmore, Owings & Merrill in San Francisco where she was an Associate. She joined The Pfister Partnership in 1981 and served as Director of Design. In 1991 she became a co-founder of Babey Moulton Jue & Booth.
Pamela has worked abroad extensively for clients such as Regent International Hotels, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in Italy, United Overseas Bank and the Empress Place Museum in Singapore, Royal Dutch Shell in The Hague, Knoll International in Paris and Brussels, and Peninsula Hotels in Sydney. In addition to her international commissions, Pamela has directed a number of U.S. Projects including Plaza Las Fuentes Hotel in Pasadena, California, The Regent Hotel in Washington D.C., and a new store for Polo Ralph Lauren in Palo Alto, California.. In February 1991, Pamela was featured in a cover story in Interiors magazine, and was recently included in the Rizzoli book, Women of Design.. In 1996 Pamela was honored as an inductee in Interior Design magazine's Interior Design Hall of Fame.
Pamela's recent projects include the Grand Hotel a Villa Feltrinelli, an ultra-luxury lakeside villa on Lago di Garda, Italy, and the Madison Resort in Carmelo, Uruguay, which was awarded "Best Resort Hotel" by Interior Design Magazine. Current projects include the Four Seasons Milano in Italy, the Four Seasons Buenos Aires in Argentina, the Westin Chosun Seoul in Korea, the Houston Country Club in Texas, and private residences in Hong Kong and San Francisco.
She is also active in the fields of textile, carpet and product design.
David Moulton is a Principal of Babey Moulton Jue & Booth. Mr. Moulton was educated at the University of California at Santa Cruz and the University of California at Berkeley, where he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Architecture degree in 1971. His previous experience was with Skidmore, Owings & Merrill in San Francisco. As an Associate Partner, he was the design architect on a wide range of major architectural commissions throughout the United States. Mr. Moulton joined The Pfister Partnership in 1987 and spent two years abroad serving as Director of Design for Pfister's London office. He returned to San Francisco in 1989 and was named a Director of The Pfister Partnership. In 1991 he became a co-founder of Babey Moulton Jue & Booth.
David has designed and directed numerous projects in both the United States and abroad, and has been the Principal In Charge of a variety of the firm's projects, including the ultra luxury Grand Hotel a Villa Feltrinelli in Italy, The Peninsula Chicago, other hotels and projects in India, Korea and the United States. Other projects include shops for Ghiradelli Chocolate Company, offices for Theodore Goddard, Midland Bank and The Northern Trust Co. in London, Latham & Watkins and Cooley Godward LLP in San Francisco, as well as projects for Columbia Savings and Loan, Next Inc., and the University of California.
Current projects include Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts in Buenos Aires, Milan and Scottsdale, Arizona; the Westin Chosun in Seoul, Korea, and Sun City Yokohama, Japan.
David is a registered Architect in the States of California and Illinois and a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.
