Jiun Ho is a fast rising young designer from San Francisco who has created a timeless fusion of East and West with the Soleil Collection of pendants and portables for The Kentfield Collection.

Growing up in Malaysia, Jiun created his first furniture designs as a child using LEGO’s, a gift from his parents who had wanted him to become an engineer. But from the beginning Jiun Ho says that furniture and interior design dominated his thinking. After graduating from high school, Jiun left to study design in the United States at the University of Iowa and the International Academy of Merchandising and Design in Chicago where he obtained his degree. Jiun worked at several architectural and design firms before opening his own studio.

Jiun Ho’s vision for the Soleil Collection incorporates a deft fusion of Asian and European traditions with modern sensibilities. This timeless style allows the Soleil Collection to blend equally with both modern and more classic interiors.

Balance and harmony are the hallmarks of Jiun Ho’s design. He calls his designs flirtatious, elegant, tranquil and classic – all about style rather than fashion, all about relaxed living rather than studied formality.
