
Andrew Fisher and Jeffry Weisman have over forty years combined experience designing custom solutions for residences, offices, showrooms, hotels and retail spaces.
Mr. Fisher studied art and design at the California College of Arts & Crafts and worked closely with both Tony Duquette and John Hallock. With Mr. Daquette, Mr. Fisher designed and created room settings, chandeliers, mirrors and custom furniture and lighting for clients, as well as unique installations including the Temple of Saint Francis in San Francisco and a remarkable palazzo in Venice, Italy. Mr. Fisher is also an accomplished artist, working in the mediums of paintings, sculpture, and the design and crafting of fantasy furniture and objects.
Mr. Weisman studied design at Stanford University where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He returned to Stanford Business School and earned his Masters in Business Administration. He also lectured in the design program at Stanford for ten years. Prior to opening his own firm, First Design, he worked at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and Gensler & Associates. Mr. Weisman also worked closely with Charles Pfister, designing furniture, lighting, and other products. Mr. Weisman has designed collections for Baker Furniture, Brown Jordan, The Wicker Works and Michael Taylor Designs.
