"Playing with a handful of beads I had collected on many trips to Venice, I got the idea for a light that had the feel of that opulent mountain of beads in my hands. I began making drawings of draped, beaded waterfalls of light, and the Lavaliere was born," states designer Thomas Fuchs. Reflective and refractive qualities inherent in semi-precious stones, crystal and Venetian beads create a distinct richness. The bead selection may vary but will always remain in neutral tones to fit into a wide variety of interiors and color schemes. Choose from three hammertone finish options in Satin Nickel, Satin Brass and Antiqued Boyd Brass. Halogen lamping creates extra sparkle and provides a wisp of downlight.
