Hey Washingtonians! If you missed NeoCon this year, and were devastated because you thought you missed your chance to learn all about Boyd’s latest and greatest fixtures… then you’re in luck! Donghia DC is hosting a lunchtime reception, featuring our newest lighting, at the Washington Design Center.
NeoCon 2012 began with a BANG on Sunday afternoon, June 10th. The showrooms were filled with owners, sales managers and sale representatives learning the new information which they would ultimately share, over the next three days, with their clients. Focus was intense, since traffic was said to be up 9% this year, according to Mark Falanga, President of Merchandise Mart Properties.
On Monday, clients bolted from the elevators eager to see the latest and greatest in: furniture, fabrics lighting and accessories. Clients came from all over the world: Europe, China, India, Pakistan, Japan, Australia/New Zealand, Central America, South America, the Middle East and Africa… to see the finest commercial furnishings available. Not only did interior designers, architects, lighting designers, and facility managers participate… but there were many representatives from Fortune 1000 Key Corporate Accounts searching for how they could add-value to their stores through the use of sophisticated design. They know that good design means more business. Just ask APPLE!
Tuesdays at NeoCon often slow down dramatically. Not this year! Clients were yearning and learning. They enjoyed BOYD’s newest products: Asteroid Pendant, Newton Pendants, Marrakesh Series, Ice Block & Ice Oval Sconces, Topanga I & II Sconces and the new faceplates for the Emanation Mirrored Sconces.
